Leaving Our Mark

The Sikh American Legal Defense and Eduation (SALDEF) is the nation's oldest Sikh Americon odvocacy group. SALDEF's mission is to protect the civil rights of Sikh Americans and ensure a fostering environment in the United States for tuture genera!ions. Last yar, SALDEF lunched a ground-breaking youth development initiltive called SikhLEAD through which young leaders gain access to opportunities ond training through intenships and leadershlp development programs. This film captures the experience of two young leaders as they participate in the SikhLED sumer internship program in Washington DC.
